Our inspiration is drawn from the quaint fishing villages, secluded jungle surf beaches and candy-colored colonial towns of Bahia, Brazil. Brazilians love their Açai bowl for breakfast, as a refreshing snack after the beach or as a tasty dessert with dinner. The Acai berry comes from high atop a palm tree with a long thin trunk up to 80ft high. The sustainable harvest and exporting of this remarkable berry helps protect the delicate Amazon rainforest from clear-cutting and burning which has obliterated so much of the region.
